Andrew Mitchell

The Emmy Award winning Andrew Mitchell has cultivated years of knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects to make him what he is today. With the short epic Kill Your Television, he now ventures further into the world of writing with his first self written short film in over 3 years. Andrew has recently moved to Melbourne, Australia to focus on establishing himself as a director while studying at the Victorian College of the Arts. He is currently working towards obtaining his graduate diploma in Narrative Film Directing, followed closely by a masters of Visual Effects in 2010.
Andrew has moved from Los Angeles where he worked as a motion graphic artist for Company Wide Shut working on DVD and Blu Ray animation/design for films such as: Hellboy 2, the Simpson's Movie, the Golden Compass, and the Dark City Directors Cut.

With striking technical knowledge and ability, Hugh has made a strong name for himself on the Melbourne Music Video scene. Twice he has taken out the Channel V “Ripe” clip of the week in the same year. Working in collaboration with prodigal director Callum Cooper, at Isore Productions helped expand his depth of knowledge as he continues to expand his ever growing resourcefulness. Maintaining a constantly positive attitude, Hugh strives to pull his most expansive resources into collaboration for Kill Your Television.

Director of Photography
Hailing from Latvia, came to Australia to study filmmaking, specializing in
cinematography. He has worked as an editor, later as a press
photographer in Latvia working for various agencies. Reinis has shot all
countless shorts on 16mm and video using a variety of motion picture cameras. He has done an internship at Cameraquip - camera rental house in Melbourne. With his long list of credits and an eye for perfection he is keen to capture the epic expanse of the world within Kill Your Television.
Marissa Dale-Johnson
Production Designer
Currently a 3rd year Architecture student at the University of Melbourne, Marissa wishes to pursue Production Design after this current year of study. Born in Toronto, Canada, Marissa migrated with her family to Australia in 2006. She has been involved in the theatrical arts her whole life through dance, direction and design. Broadening her scope, she became involved with Kill Your Television after publicising her skills in design in hopes expand her portfolio from stage to film.
She brings a strong 'can do' attitude to the bunch with a firm foundation in architecture and a strength for functional design. Marissa is heading up everything from how the characters look to adding functional facades to the destroyed city landscape.
John Fox
Motion Picture Armourer
John is an amazing weapons specialist that has worked in the film and television industry for the last 25 years. He is providing us with amazingly real gun fire and squibs to create heart pounding and very realistic action sequences.
Anthony Littlechild
Eddie & Ivan
Anthony has been passionate about acting and film for 16 years. He landed guest roles on Holly's Heros, 3 episodes on Blue Heelers, City Homicide and is featured in 8 episodes of Neighbors. Also starred in 6 TV Commercials, most recently 2 for Cadbury. Anthony also had minor roles in the Feature films 'One Perfect Day' and 'The Wog Boy'. In 2008 he worked on 8 short films and has lead roles in 6 shorts for 2009.
He has studied acting for film and television, theatre and dance since 1993 and is eager to continue to expand his horizons. Excited to delve further into the depths of quality cinema, Anthony prepares for his roles in Kill Your Television as troubled twin brothers Eddie and Ivan struggling to come to grips with their messed up world.
Nick Musgrove
Hugo
Nick's passion for performance found voice at Melbourne Grammar School where he wrote and performed in several plays including the 2002 School Play 'Divine Comedy'. In 2004, Nick penned 'Cardinal Sins - The Misadventures of Henry VIII', performed with Monash Student Theatre. Nick also enjoyed writing and performing in two Monash Law Comedy Revues: 'Tasmania: Fact or Fiction?" & "Captain Average and the B Squad" in 2005/6. Having graduated in Arts/Law this year, Nick is working on a Musical "Kells" with composer Stefan Casomenos, together with an Australian stage drama "The Change Room" with Alex Lee. Currently, Nick's major project is bringing to life his scripted comedy "Family Dawns", which is due to air on C31 in October. Nick has also enjoyed his role as C31 television host in such programs as "Theatre Games Live", and the " C31 Melbourne Antenna Awards".
Olivia DiCocco
Sofia
At a sharp 7 years of age, Olivia loves to sing, act and play music.
She has been in the 2007 short film, Little Wings, the Loreal Fashion Show - Mini Me 2008 for Country Road and Esprit. Olivia has been a member of the Children's Preforming Company of Australia for 3 years now. She is a Violinist for the youngest Orchestra, Aust. Mozartini Orchestra.
Olivia is very excited to expand her acting with the role of the quiet younger sister of Hugo named Sofia in Kill Your Television.
Stephan Latsch
1st Assistant Director
Stephan is an organizational machine that runs smoother than a clock for everyday activities. He will be leading this team through its battle against time from August 18th - 20th on the streets of Melbourne.
Kristen Baum
Composer
Kristen Baum has two passions: music and movies. She was first introduced to film as a child, when she spent time with her father observing his talent for developing character, arc and story at university studios where he taught radio and television communication. In addition to scoring several short films and a feature, Kristen has worked with award-winning film composer Christopher Young as part of the music team for Untraceable, The Uninvited, and as an orchestrator for When In Rome.

Ramsay De Marco
Sound Designer
Ramsay sees the world through his ears, thus making him the best man for the job of designing the insanity of the complex sound scape heard in Kill Your Television.
Serge De Nardo
Guard #1
Serge plays a valuable role of the guard that alerts Hugo and Eddie to Sofia's location. He is a very talented actor with a long list of credits. Most recently he has been cast as a 1950's Italian Actor for a short interstitial segment that will be touring the world with the Italian Film Festival.
